This week, after more than 4 years of working closely with our Founder and chair Maggie, we are really sad to announce that due to personal circumstances, Jennie Lucas is stepping down as our CEO. This has been on the horizon for several months, but it’s only now we can make this public.
The whole team would like to thank Jennie enormously for all of her hard work and dedication over the last four years. From humble beginnings she has helped to shape the charity into what it is today. We'll miss her lots but we know she'll be staying in touch and closely involved in a voluntary capacity, and she will remain as part of our extended ‘TMOF family”.
Over recent weeks Jennie has been Handing over many of her responsibilities to our interim team. With the strong team we have in place, our core services will remain unaffected during this transition as we search for the perfect person to help us climb to the next level in our evolution.
We are now entering into what will be a really exciting time for TMOF over the coming months with our profile having been raised significantly over the past couple of months through intense media coverage which has led to an influx of incredible donations from supporters old and new. We're in the process of working out precisely what that means for the Foundation and our next steps, and how we can ensure we use these opportunities to best support more victims and survivors who come to us for help as they navigate their own personal journeys towards justice and recovery……
All of this news coincides with the end of our current five year strategic plan. We are immensely proud to have hit all of the targets we set in that plan, which was created way back in 2020 when TMOF was still in its infancy.
It's very much "business as usual" for our brilliant team supporting survivors while we work on what the next phase of TMOF looks like.
