We know that some perpetrators of sexual offences will have themselves have experienced sexual abuse in childhood and may seek to address issues related to their own abuse. We have worked extremely hard at SiT to ensure that the centre and space we work in feels safe and we won’t compromise the integrity of this – we are therefore unable to offer support to those who are under investigation or have convictions for sexual offences. The following organisations can offer support:
- The Survivors Trust
- Stop it Now
- Survivors Manchester
- Safeline
- Mind
- The Survivors Trust
- NAPAC
- Rape Crisis
- Centre For Womens Justice
- Association of Child Abuse Lawyers (ACAL)ACAL is an association set up for the benefit of victims, lawyers, experts and other professionals involved in the field of obtaining compensation for the physical, sexual or emotional abuse of children and adults abused in childhood.
- NAPAC ( National Association for People Abused in Childhood)
- Samaritans. Tel 116123
