Thank you for your interest in volunteering with The Maggie Oliver Foundation's Emotional Support Phoneline Service.
Our Emotional Support Phoneline offers a safe, compassionate and trauma-informed space where survivors of child sexual abuse and exploitation can feel heard, believed and supported.
As a volunteer, you will provide emotional support and active listening. This role is not a counselling, advice-giving or crisis intervention role. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate empathy, emotional resilience, good boundaries, a commitment to safeguarding, and the ability to work within the limits of the service.
Please complete this form as fully as possible.
What happens next?
If your initial application is successful, you’ll be invited to interviews with members of our staff team (two rounds).
If, after interview, we feel like you’ll be a good fit, we’ll request DBS, social media and character reference checks.
