We are aware that our work and reputation are sometimes used, without our permission, by groups and individuals to further their own agendas which do not match TMOF's values. While we try our best to prevent this, it's not always possible. We have also been alerted to survivors being approached by these groups in an effort to use their stories for their own agendas. Survivors who have previously felt they had nowhere to turn for support can be targets for such exploitation when they finally feel like someone is listening.
Everyone at TMOF absolutely condemns all forms of abuse and exploitation, be that sexual exploitation, exploitation of survivors' stories or exploitation of our work and name. As a registered charity, TMOF must remain politically neutral, but what we do stand for is justice.
If you or someone you know if struggling with the impacts of sexual violence, please do get in touch through our website and we will try our very best to help you.
